The Zotung Chin Baptist Association (ZCBA) was formally established on June 13, 2015, at the Georgia Zotung Baptist Church in Atlanta, Georgia. Upon its establishment, the association was named America Zotung Baptist Churches (AZBC). The founding member churches were as follows:

1. Austin Zotung Baptist Church
2. Charlotte Zotung Baptist Church
3. Georgia Zotung Baptist Church
4. Oklahoma Zotung Baptist Church
5. Iowa Zotung Baptist Church
6. Zotung Baptist Church – Maryland
7. Zotung Baptist Church – Tennessee

Subsequently, on March 12, 2016, during the Board of Management Meeting convened at Zotung Baptist Church – Tennessee, the association officially adopted the name Zotung Chin Baptist Association (ZCBA). On that same date, the Constitution and Bylaws of the Association were formally enacted and came into effect.

Since its establishment, the Zotung Chin Baptist Association has been graciously blessed by God with continued growth and expansion. The Association presently comprises ten member churches situated across ten different states within the United States. In addition to the founding member churches, the Association has been strengthened by the inclusion of Kentucky Zotung Baptist Church, Zotung Baptist Church – Indiana, and Zotung Baptist Church – Utah.
